There is a Farmer’s Market in Staunton, Virginia that has one of the best variety and quality booths I’ve seen in years.
I visited several booths, but Pettijohn Orchard had an incredible Lavender lemon scone. My Mom is gluten free so bakeries that make gluten free items always perk my interest, especially because I have never seen another bakery using chestnut flour.
Background
Pettijohn is unique because it features baked goods made with Chestnut flour.
After tasting this delightful scone, I thought Yurgisheff coffee would be the perfect taste test. Yurgisheff has been one of my favorites and its floral note description has always perplexed me when I consider it for a tasting.
Tasting
Put me in a flower garden and call me sunshine! Yurgisheff is bold and full when it hits your mouth. A strong coffee hug that envelopes and holds. Yurgisheff has subtle citrus notes accompanied with light floral notes.
